Taylor + Izzy…
The most beautiful wedding in her grandmothers backyard. It was beyond special getting to explore the place that holds so much meaning and memories for this sweet couple. They got ready inside the house in rooms right across the hall from one another. They each would sneak out making sure the other one didn’t see. You could hear from each room the amount of joy that was radiating. You could feel the excitement, the nerves, and the anticipation. If I had one word to summarize their day with, it would be joyful! From the cooking in the kitchen to the Christmas tree in the living room, it was all perfect and literally gave me all the feels. They decorated the backyard with all of their favorite things, got married in front of their family and friends, and walked out of their ceremony to “Joy to the World.” They signed their marriage license on Taylor’s grandmothers kitchen table that was nested right next to the Christmas Tree. It was literally the most intimate and special time. Now I am a HUGE fan of Christmas Backyard elopements.
