A few weeks ago, my besties threw us and baby boy the sweetest baby shower ever. It was everything I could have ever wanted in a baby shower and I am so thankful they did this for us. We ate yummy food, they had my favorite candy of all time (gummy worms ;P), played the most fun Mad Lib about me going into labor, opened presents, took pictures, etc. The two FAVORITE things that completely wrecked me were the affirmation cards for labor that all my friends wrote and when everyone at my shower gathered around me, laid hands, and prayed over me and baby boy. I am still not recovered from that moment and I am so grateful for the words spoken over us in those sweet moments. Being surrounded in community during this next stage of our life has been the absolute sweetest and completely wrecked me in the best way possible. There are so many days I just tell Shaun how thankful I am for the family and friends that the Lord has placed in our life. I am still in a puddle from this day!
