Kennedy + Taylor are recently engaged + I am over the moon about it. If you keep up with me on social media, you may know that I mentored Kennedy back in the Spring! She was my first ever photographer that I have gotten to pour into + teach. She spent months with me scouting locations, practicing on me + couples, asking questions, sitting at coffee shops knocking out some editing, coming to a bunch of my engagement sessions, + helped at a few weddings. I have LOVED getting to watch her grow.
A little back story! When Kennedy was in the middle of her mentorship, her fiancé, Taylor reached out to me with this plan that he was going to propose! Obviously I was so excited + it was such a hard task to not give it away to Kennedy because she was literally with me hours a week! But I kept the secret! The proposal was going to be at the end of August! Fast forward a little bit… July rolls around + I see that Kennedy posted on her instagram that she was engaged! Taylor came to visit Kennedy in Greenvile, SC + could not wait any longer! He proposed in a quiet place, just the two of them. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our plans, that the Lord redirects our attention on Him + is like “nah, this is what is going to happen!” (Or at least that is how I think he would say it!!) lol 🙂 In late August, we still did engagement pictures as normal + THEY. WERE. PERFECT. Kennedy + Taylor had family + friends fly in to spend this exciting time with them! It was so special + I am beyond thankful to play a small role in their story.
Kennedy + Taylor, I wish you the freaking best in this new season of life! Y’all are going to kill the whole marriage thing!
